Education and the meme generation

VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis, who spent many years teaching high school students and seminarians, had a lot of great stuff to say today about the importance of education.

I thought it’d be fun to create a couple of memes to help spread, in new ways, what he had to say .

Utbildning grundläggande rättighet för alla. Livsviktigt för den nya generationen som formar mänsklighetens framtid. Inte bara utbildning i tekniska färdigheter, utan fostran i demokrati, livets kultur, respekt för människovärdet…

  4. The call to teaching comes from God and must be grounded in spirituality. Too often the spiritual growth of the teacher is ignored or even considered unnecessary. Because it is a daunting task to reach out to students day after day with Christian love and patience, I started a blog that inspires and assists teachers who believe classroom teaching is an ongoing act of prayer. I suggest means in which Christian teachers, whether they teach in a Christian school or a public school, can live out Christian principles and proclaim Jesus in the classroom through making their service an act of prayer.
