The Arlington Catholic Herald, newspaper of the Diocese of Arlington, Va., recently profiled Katie Yohe, a graduate from a Catholic high school in the diocese who, upon getting her college degree, has decided to commit a year to teaching second-graders in the West African nation of Ghana. Katie won’t be by herself; another 2009 graduate from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., Megan Ryan, will also go to Ghana to teach. Check out the full story.
