Papal economics

VATICAN CITY — Pope Francis’ apostolic exhortation “Evangelii Gaudium” is, among other things, a reflection on economics and social justice.

This short video, based on a CNS interview with an expert on Catholic social teaching, lays out some essential elements of recent papal teaching on the economy as background for reading the new document.
