Thanks be to God and to Cardinal Arinze for this excellent response to Pope Benedicts news. For love of the Church and it’s people our loving Holy Farther continues to be a servant leader.
God Bless the Holy Father and so glad he still has friends there. Whew what a churlish bunch some are in the media and even the Catholic world – and even some Cardinals and Vaticanistas – with all the negativity. It is disheartening. I pray for Benedict and wish him a restful retirement – and hope for some writing/reflections. Hope he won’e totally disapper, so that we who love him will be reassured as to him welfare and life in retirement. Somehow I think with the media over there a total disappearnce is unlikely!
