An editorial in The Catholic Sun, newspaper of the Phoenix Diocese, looks at the modern media frontier and how the Catholic Church, from local dioceses to the Vatican, is using the Internet, Web sites and online social networking to spread the Gospel message and tell the story of the church.
The editorial points out that as hip and cutting edge as these new media outlets may be, “they are merely another step in helping us get to a place of greater importance.”
