‘Action’ center boosts progress of special-ed grads

Stories that tell of people overcoming major obstacles in life are always worth a read.

In the story “‘Action’ center boosts progress of special-ed grads” in the Oct. 16 edition of The Dialog, newspaper of the Diocese of Wilmington, Del., a parishioner of Resurrection Parish in Wilmington, says her special-needs son wasn’t expected to live past his third birthday but recently celebrated his 21st.

A day program for special-needs adults provides him with companionship and useful tools for everyday life.
